Hi and good afternoon

I read all of the comments made by each one of you and I just shake my head.

I am German/Italian raised on the other side of the world living in Mexico being married to a charro.

I was raised and taught that we have to protect animal. I will quote Ghandi

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated""

I have to admit that in the beginning and until today I have some very intensive discussions with my husband about how animals should be treated and I do not like Manganas and I do not like colas.

But for me it is very simple and I do not understand why you guys can not respect this.

Each country has its traditions. Some traditions are 100s and 100s of years OLD and a nation who actually exists for only about 200 years and is nothing more than a melting pot of lots of different ethnic groups who as of today can not show any valuable traditions at all except Thanksgiving you guys put yourself

ALL OVER THE WORLD IN THE POSITION TO JUDGE WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG MEASURED BY THEIR WAY YOU GUYS LOOK AT THE WORLD.

You guys teach at your schools to have respect and that all is about respect well then

RESPECT MEXICAN CULTURE..

You will not change the way Mexicans treat their animals nor will you change their ways of looking at the world by making racists comments or coming with proof of this or that.

Mexicans see why actually happens in your country or should I say we Europeans

as well see what happens in your country and believe me it is not good what we see.

I see what I do not like and do not like what I see. All your animal and animal protection groups are full of fanatics and put an animal on a stage where it should not be .

Once I adopted a rabbit by th Human Society . His name was Hardy. 6 weeks after I adopted him I received a call. A very nice lady asked me about Hardy..

In the meantime his name was actually changed by my son to Don Silvestre.

I will never forget this phone conversation. She actually asked me how Hardy adapted to us and if we feel that he accepted us and that she does not think it is good to have his named changed because he is used already to his name Hardy and at the end because I was very straight forward she actually wanted to come to see him because she wanted to make sure that Hardy go treated right

PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are talking about a rabbit!!!

THIS IS THE WAY I M USED THAT YOU HANDLE THINGS COMPLETLY OVERDOING OVERPROTECTING TO AN EXTEND WHERE OTHER NATIONS JUST SHAKE THEIR HEADS.

For me the whole discussion and bringing evidences is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The point is that because in the US family values and the strong band of families exist only in the oriental and latin community you guys put animals on the same level as human beings. because a lot of old peoplein the US have little contact to their family members and therefore get a dog cat or other animal.

It comes all down to this,

Just look at your animals stores!!!!!!!

Why would anybody put a raincoat or a stupid hat or boots on a dog? Why would your cat has to wear sunglasses for protection?

I want to close my comment with a comment from my grandmother.

She said.

I have a dog and I feed my dog because his job is to protect me my family and my house.

I have a cat and I give her shelter because she takes care of the rodents.

I have a horse which has to bring me from point A to B thats why I feed an dtake care of the horrse.

Animals have a certain place in our lives but they can not replace a daughter a son or a partner. We should not forget this.

Traditions, customs and culture are the essentials of each nation and we have to respect those.

My children grow up in the charro ambience and all I can say is that they are happy and unstressed children. They do not need a TV, I pod , Cellular or a computer and they do not see anything bad about manganas or colas because it is part of their culture they get raised in. They love animals treat animals very nice and are not barberic children

and will not become barberic Mexicans who mistreat horses at charriadas.

Animals are animals and we should leave it like that.

Sincerely

N G
